It's a Girl Scout camp, I have been there twice, once for a winter Snowshoeing event and once to camp in the Spring. It is a fairly nice camp that is well maintained and kept in reasonably good repair. This camp definitely have that half built and poorly maintained feeling that you might expect. All campsites have bathroom buildings with running water, flush toilets electric light and a single outlet. The "Cabins" are in good repair and are of the partly wood with screens and vinyl flap with wooden door type, not the wood and canvas or all canvas type, staff cabins have electric light, but no outlets. Most campsites have a covered pavilion for campsite activities, but the further out sites do not. There is a large indoor program center that is also used as a storm shelter. While the camp has an infirmary, it was not staffed at the time I was there so I can only say it was a building in good repair with a furnace, bathrooms, a small kitchen, and a hot water heater. While I did pass the riding area and stables I never did get to really look at them so I can only say they looked from a distance to be in the same state of repair as the rest of the camp. Overall for a camp facility run by a non profit entity this camp is probably one of the best I have ever been to, that includes many state run campgrounds. I would return to Camp Timber Trails if there was another event there.
amazing space for concious communities!!
A little TLC and this is heaven.
